This is a four season vacation spot. Create your own memories in the western North Carolina mountains by Lake Chatuge! Enjoy great hiking, boating, fishing, and much more! Take advantage of the hiking and biking on the Jack Rabbit Mountain trails along the shores by Lake Chatuge. Winter discounts available from January 1 until March 31. OPTIONAL MINI COTTAGE (for a third bedroom that sleeps 2) with Queen sized bed and TV but no extra bathroom for an extra $25 per night plus $25 cleaning.

Our cabin is surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest and borders the US Forestry Service Area, making it secluded, peaceful, and majestic! It is just a short walk from Lake Hiwassee, abundant with fish and wildlife. Enjoy the outdoors sipping coffee or hot cocoa from the screened-in porch. Grill on the patio while watching the sunset. Sit around the fire pit, making s’mores and enjoying wine. Centrally located are the boat ramp, marina, dam, Historic Murphy, and Historic Blue Ridge.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, yet close to town center...only 2 1/2 miles. Have your morning coffee or evening cocktails on our screened in back porch overlooking the pond. Go fishing in the private pond and take out our kayaks. We also have a 4 person inflatable dinghy you may use along with 3 fishing poles and life vests. There are 2 lightweight kayaks for pond use only. We just purchased a 4 man paddle boat. Life jackets are required when on or in the water.
