Nestled on 6.6 acres of wooded privacy on Douglas Lake, Cozy Cove is a perfect place to relax as you view the Smoky Mountains from a spacious, wrap around deck. Douglas Lake is a premier bass & crappie fishing destination. Boats, kayaks & paddleboards welcome. Dollywood, Pigeon Forge’, shopping, Smoky Mtn. National Park, all close. You will need to descend several steps to access the lake. See pics.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Smoky Mtn Cabin with Creek Views and Waterfall

Reconnect with nature in this historical cabin nestled against a churning river and stunning waterfall. Ed's Mill is in the Smoky Mountains just outside Newport TN, with easy access to major tourist attractions like Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend. More photos coming soon! This cabin is part of the historical Serenity Falls community, comprised of 5 cabins, 6 total dwellings. The property is surrounded by forests, boasts a private waterfall, views of the forest and a community firepit.

We are situated in the middle so you can go either way without a lot of driving. This is an easy stop-over if you are traveling 81 and just need a sweet place to rest in your journey. We take great care to foresee any need you may have while staying with us.

Cozy Lakefront Cottage with Mountain Views

Come relax & enjoy our charming cottage on the main channel of Douglas Lake. Experience breathtaking sunsets, lakeside bonfires, & refreshing dips in the cool water. Please note, the water level is highest from May-August. This home accommodates 4 adults max & 3 children. The dock does NOT have water at it during winter/early spring drawdown (typically Oct–April). Guests can still walk to the shoreline.

Bring your fishing poles and enjoy this 4 bedroom 3 bath home with incredible mountain and lake views. NOTE- Douglas Lake is operated by TVA and the lake levels are lowered from fall to spring. There will not be water at the boat docks during this time.

Built on a cliff overlooking the French Broad River, you can see miles of mountains for more than 180 degrees from inside the cabin and from 3 decks on different levels.
