Welcome to our Southern MD beach house. This 3 bedroom and 2 bath home is situated on nearly 1.5 acres of property where you can breathe deep and take in the bay breeze. Whether it is visiting one of the Chesapeake Bay beaches only a 3 minute drive from the home, or watching for wildlife in our yard (it is common to see deer, rabbits, birds, etc), life in Calvert County will slow you down and help you take a much needed break from the daily grind. And you don't even have to cross the Bay Bridge!

With views of the Chesapeake Bay, access to private beaches, a brand new hot tub, air hockey table, kayaks, and being just minutes away from hot spots like Calvert Cliffs and Solomon's Island the Hollow makes for the perfect vacation destination. Enjoy sunrise views through the treetops each morning on the expansive back deck, or use our eco-friendly wood burning stove for autumn and winter nights. Listen to the waves of the Chesapeake Bay from the trex deck. There are 2 private community beaches in the neighborhood where you can find fossils and sharks teeth. A great place to relax and unwind. You will hear the sounds of all kinds of birds, see lots of very tiny frogs in spring and summer and maybe some deer around the house! You can also expect to see/hear aircraft from Pax River Base fly overhead! Book your stay today and let the magic of the woods and water wash away your cares.

Cove Point Cottage with Chesapeake Bay views

Welcome to our beach house, just a block from the Cove Point Beach on the Chesapeake Bay. Start your beach day by grabbing the beach wagon from the shed, loading it up with beach chairs, towels, and your cooler. A short stroll takes you to the beach, where you can spend the day searching for shark teeth and shells or swimming in the bay's refreshing waters. After a day in the sun, rinse off in our outdoor shower. Our shady patio provides the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the evening breeze.

A commanding view of the Chesapeake Bay. Enjoy walking the beach to Calvert Cliffs, bike to parks, art and cultural events. Enjoy the private beach with plenty of fine sand and gentle waves, great for teaching little one's water skills, playing with your canine companion or fishing/crabbing off the beach. You’ll love this waterfront hideaway because of the location, views, and the ambiance. My place is suburb for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, and canine friends.

Here you'll find an open floor plan and plenty of space to unwind and take in your surroundings. Enjoy the peace and quiet of Cuckold Creek and the beauty of our newly renovated home. Historic Rousby Hall, Waterfront, Pool, Beach

Rousby Hall is a stunning waterfront estate on the Patuxent River, just outside Solomons Island, with sweeping views of where the river meets the Chesapeake Bay. The private 16-acre property is bordered by a conservation area and a 300-foot private beach. Year-round amenities include a pier and an in-ground pool with amazing river views. The estate also hosts weddings and events for up to 100 guests (event fee is additional).

Cozy Little Cottage

The "Cottage" is a cozy vacation rental that has an open floor plan that allows for easy hanging out or keeping an eye on the kids. The "Cottage" is not on the water, but is close to Solomons Island where you can enjoy their boardwalk & the view! The "Cottage" is close to history, lighthouses, crab and fishing charters and shark tooth hunting! Also nearby is the Calvert Marine Museum featuring live concerts by top name bands.

The Cottage is perfectly perched alongside Cuckold Creek showcasing the beauty of Southern Maryland. Our home provides plenty of space for relaxing together with a water view everywhere you turn. Each space is set up to provide you with the comforts of home, so you can relax and enjoy being in the moment. Located in the heart of Hollywood, not too far from stores or restaurants, but still "away from it all". ✨

Spacious Lake House at the Chesapeake Bay

Our spacious yet cozy lake house, nestled in the woods, has a gorgeous view of the pond and is just a short walk to a pristine beach that straddles the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay. With four large bedrooms and four baths, the cabin comfortably sleeps 10 (or more), perfect for a long-weekend getaway or a week at the beach with the extended family. (And you don’t even cross the Bay Bridge!)
