Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

1 Gloucester Cottages is nestled in the quaint mining village of Stanton Drew in the Chew Valley, Somerset, The village is home of the prehistoric Stanton Drew stone circles, the second largest stone circle in Britain after Avebury. The cottage is great for families and couples, it has a fully equipped kitchen and is furnished through out, a king sized bed and double with all linen included. We have fast wifi, parking and an open working fireplace for those cosy nights in with a bottle of red.

A beautifully crafted Grade II listed cottage, ideal for families or groups of friends seeking something special. A rural spot adjacent to the third largest complex of standing stones in the UK within easy access to local markets (and clubs!) in Bath, Wells, and Bristol. Scenic walks and cycle routes in every direction.

The cottage is within walking distance from Keynsham with lots of restaurants, shops, supermarkets and a trainstation (direct train to Bath and Bristol centre in about 10 minutes).

Bye Mills Farm is in the Chew Valley, a perfect rural retreat by the River Chew in a stunning location with beautiful walks in all directions and ideally located for exploring Bristol, Bath and Wells.

Manor Farm Barn offers extremely spacious, detached accommodation in an idyllic countryside setting - just a few miles outside Bristol city centre yet surrounded by fields overlooking the Chew Valley. Suitable for guests that want to relax in the countryside (with great walks and pubs in the surrounding areas) or as a stopover before/ after flights from Bristol Airport (5 miles away). Come and relax in this beautiful area of North Somerset - we love it and are sure you will too!

Recently converted stables with lake view

The Old Stable is a beautiful one-bedroom detached barn conversion which can accommodate up to four guests. Newly renovated in 2021 to a luxurious standard with plenty of character, beamed ceilings, bifold doors and stylish furnishings. The property has breathtaking views over the Mendips and the Chew Valley Lakes. There is even a walk down to the lake which is 400 yards away. One well behaved dog is welcome. Please ensure that when you make your booking you add the £10 pet fee.

Bring in the day amid wood surfaces and classic cabinetry in a bright kitchen as you cook a delectable breakfast to enjoy on the garden patio. Sprawl out with a paperback on the sofa amid charming fixtures, nature-inspired decor, and hardwood floors. A 1 bedroom self contained bungalow in the grounds of our house, all newly refurbished with tasteful decor throughout. The bedroom has a double bed but we can also offer a sofa bed in the living room & travel cot (if needed).
