Farmstay at Heartwood Homestead forest cottage.

Come farmstay at a homestead at our unique, bespoke, completely private little house, that is totally off-grid and almost fully self sufficient. The homestead farm is tucked away in an indigenous forest and the secluded, comfortable, eco-cottage overlooks the Gonubie River valley a stone's throw from East London, with easy access to East London Airport (King Phalo Airport). You are welcome to take a tour of the farm and systems, harvest your own organic vegetables, or just relax on the deck.

The Beach Cottage

The Beach Cottage is a self-catering cottage on a working dairy farm within walking distance to the beach. It is only 10km from the EL airport and a 20 minute drive into EL. The cottage has beautiful views of the sea as well as of cows grazing on green pastures. It has a fully functional kitchen. Tea, coffee, fresh farm milk & rusks are provided on arrival. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. Please note, own transport advisable as we are on a farm.

Our house is bright, airy and welcoming with an open-plan lifestyle, large sliding doors opening onto a covered verandah and a private courtyard and secure off-street parking. You're just minutes from the beach and shops and our neighbourhood is safe and friendly. The sunny main bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms both have two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. Our house is filled with books, love and light and we look forward to your visit!

Morgan’s View is a luxurious beach house situated on a majestic focal point in Morgans Bay. You will have an uninterrupted 180 degree view. The house has been recently renovated, is beautifully furnished and is a delight for those that enjoy cooking. There are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms - 1 bedroom has a bunkbed that sleeps 3 children. It is approx 20 minutes drive from the East London CBD and 35 minutes drive from the airport.
