Minutes from the downtown shops, fine dining restaurants, bars, movie theater, coffee shop, and art gallery. At the end of the main street take a stroll on the pier looking out over the Edenton Bay. During your stay we hope you will have time to visit some of the many historic sites Edenton is so admired for.

The guest house has a opened floor plan with kitchen and bathroom on the main floor and a bedroom upstairs. There is a delightful front porch that is perfect to relax on. The West Custom House Property is nestled on Blount Street in Edenton's Historic District just a block and a half from downtown making an easy access to restaurants, shops, historic sites, and the waterfront.

The home is located within the historic district and was built in 1906. It is within easy walking distance of Edenton Bay and historical sites. If historical tourism isn’t your thing, you can enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, summer league baseball, birdwatching, canoeing, and kayaking. Guests will have exclusive access to the entire house (2 bedrooms 1 ½ baths) except the downstairs master suite. The master suite is used by the owner when visitors are not present.

Welcome to Edenton! This house built in 1910 is just a short 2–3-minute walk to the center of town and to the waterfront! The beach is just an hour away. The outside may look rough, but the inside has been refreshed with some modern touches in mind! As this is a 100+ year old house expect wear and tear on many things so bear with us! READ HOUSE RULES before booking Everything is in walking distance such as the cinema, restaurants, fishing docks, and the bay.

While staying in our cottage, enjoy peaceful mornings on the porch with coffee or tea from our kitchen. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets in the evening right from our dock! Our family loves this sweet place, we hope you do too!

The Trestle House is named after the railroad trestles that serve as the beams in the ceilings of the first floor and basement. The stone fireplaces and original wooden floors all combine to give the house its beautiful, unique character. The wraparound deck gives magnificent views of the pond and yard, often with the wildlife that share the home with guests. There is plenty of room for everyone, with five bedrooms, each with their own bath.

A quick 1 mile to downtown Edenton for great shopping, coffee and dining experiences.
