Welcome to our 2 bedroom end terrace house in Denton Holme, Carlisle! We can accommodate 4 people, with a king size bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. We can also provide 2 travel cots. We cater for families with children of any age, people traveling for work or breaking up a long journey and dog lovers on holiday. The house is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Carlisle, round the corner from nearby shops and a short stroll from a lovely walk by the River Caldew.

It is ideally located for day trips to the beaches of Northumberland, the Scottish Borders or the Lake District National Park.

Off-road parking is available at the rear, suitable for small/ medium vehicles, tight angle but still plenty of space to drive in. Perfect for long stays, with everything you need provided.

The accommodation comprises entrance hall leading to the living room with original fireplace and electric fire, modern kitchen with integrated oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave. To the first floor there is a feature stone wall leading to the bathroom and bedrooms. Sleeps up to five persons in two bedrooms (one king sized bed and one triple bunk bed).

Situated on Castletown Estate you can walk out of the garden gate and straight onto the river side with access to walks not publicly available.

The Old Map Shop
The Old Map Shop was originally part of the village school. In more recent times it was a map shop, but then lay empty for a number of years before it was sensitively converted into a holiday property in 2020 - 2021. Caldbeck has a pub, cafes and a few shops. It is a great base for exploring the northern fells or for a stop on the Cumbria Way.
