Little Halcyon is located in the Anchorage area, West Mersea. Just a short stroll from the beach, local pubs, restaurants and the village. It is a cosy, self contained, newly renovated annexe in 2021 with it's own private entrance and off street parking. Inside you have a sitting room with a sofa, dining table and a Smart TV. The kitchen area has a hob, combi microwave, kettle, toaster and full sized fridge. It has a separate bedroom with a King size bed and a bathroom with a walk in shower.

Anchor cottage, an Historic Home and now with EV charger, is a delightful period, cottage situated in the heart of The Anchorage, once known as Mersea City on Mersea Island. It has three bedrooms, a large double, a twin room and a downstairs single bedroom. The bathroom is on the ground floor and large sitting/dining room with a gas heater and provides plenty of space for five people indoors and there is a private, wrap around garden with BBQ area that enjoys the sun at most times of the day.

Old Maltings Annex

The annex is a lovely relaxing place to stay. Accessed by the main front door one then enters one's own private space. Recently converted it offers a fantastic double room. It is very light and airy. Fully heated so nice and cosy. There is a television with sky and wifi, table and chairs and basin. Downstairs there is a bathroom, with heated towel rail and luxury bath with hand held shower. twin room downstairs next to the bathroom. NO ACTUAL KITCHEN!! fridge, toaster, kettle

The Dell - 乡村度假屋

The Dell sleeps up four guests and is located in the small village of White Colne, only 15 minutes away from the oldest recorded town in the UK, Colchester. On the Essex-Suffolk border you have a great base to explore East Anglia’s towns and attractions. This is a private annex building set in the grounds of our family home. Welcome to my cabin, set in the garden. Access to the cabin is through the side gate into the garden. Sleeps 2 on a double bed. Attached to my house, separate from the cabin, is the convenient use of your own downstairs shower room/toilet & kitchen area. Cabin is also a games room so guests have use of table tennis, football table, dart board and games. Just updated (May 2026)- new 65” smart TV. Portable AIRCON unit. Parking is in the road just outside the house.
