Welcome to Charlotte’s Place in the beautiful little town of Clarens in the Orange Free State. We have made every effort to make your time with us as comfortable as possible. During your stay you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Clarens has to offer and which is surrounded by the beautiful Maluti Mountains. Due to load shedding we have installed an inverter for your convenience as well as a tank to supply the house with water when the towns water pumps can’t pump due to load shedding

Cozy Mountain Cottage on Historic Farm

This Luxury, fully equipped, self catering cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms, each with their own entrance. Close to the village centre but far enough away to experience the tranquility of its mountain hideaway. Luxury percale linen and soft towels are provided. Heating is in each bedroom for winter nights. The open plan living area has everything you need for a home away from home holiday. A little fireplace makes for cozy winter nights and outside areas are ideal for summer evenings.

Only 6 minutes drive from The Clarens Square and 26 restaurants, yet you can unwind completely in the peacefulness of the wind and sunshine. Lovely walks. Electric blankets and wood burning fires , fully equipped kitchen, 4.5 bathrooms for 6 bedrooms including one with 4 bunk beds. It's huge but homely.

Clarens River Cottage

Clarens River Cottage is a private self-catering retreat, 500m from the village center with easy access to restaurants and shops. Nestled at the foot of the Rooiberg Mountains, the cottage offers stunning views and access to nearby hiking trails. It has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and private bathroom. The open-plan kitchen and living area lead to a patio with mountain views. Amenities include a wood-burning fireplace, Smart TV, braai (bbq), and secure off-street parking.

A beautiful cottage surrounded by peach trees and mountains - is situated in a secluded corner of Clarens, Free State, South Africa. Peach Trees offers accommodation for two people in quiet surroundings, amazing views, while being close to the village centre. The cottage has a gas hob, under counter fridge, and ample space for cooking and braaing and a wood burning fireplace. This beautiful selfcatering house is situated in the Eastern Free State in South Africa, 25km from Bethlehem, 10 km outside picturesque Clarens. (3.5 km dirt/ gravel road) The house is done in a true farmhouse, rustic style with a lovely interior and lots of atmosphere. Well suited for a big family or 2 or 3 couples. Lovely 360' views with a view on a dam and wild life like zebras, impalas and waterbucks grazing in the estate. A true beauty for nature lovers.

Clarens Villa Apartment

This unique place has a style all its own. One bedroom en-suite apartment joined to a main house with self catering facilities. The living area is heated by a wood burning fire place and the bedroom en-suite has an air conditioner. Braai facilities on site as well as a Smart TV with DSTV and WiFi. Two to three kms from the centre of town, on a mountain side. It is the bottom level of a three storey house but completely private and not affected by loadshedding.
