Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

The “Kaneville Lodge” is close to Oil City,Titusville and Franklin. It is near both Oil Creek State Park and Two Mile Run County Park. Hunting, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, biking, hiking opportunities etc... abound in our area.The kitchen is complete with dishes, pots and pans, full sized appliances and many extras so your short or long term stay will be very comfortable.Your well behaved dog(s) is welcome too (fee). Enjoy nature, the woods and maybe even some wildlife while you are visiting.

Welcome to my fabulous brand new Amish made cabin in the woods of the Allegheny Mts. alongside the river. Rest and hide from life's problems in fresh air and sunshine. Canoe and kayak rentals available nearby or bring your own and take them out on my riverfront property. Walk or ride your bike on the rails to trails 3 mile walkway to Foxburg or go much further on other trails in Emlenton. Explore my 39 acres of woods with deer, fox, wild turkeys, bear, etc. Explore the four old logging paths.

Welcome to our little slice of heaven in my favorite area of the Allegheny National Forest (ANF). If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in the forest, Hearts Content is your spot! Outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds are welcome! Whether it be hiking, orienteering, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, or cross country skiing, you can do it all from this location! During the winter, you will need AWD or 4WD as the cabin is located on a private lane not maintained by the township.

There is a boat ramp a mile down the road. Community Park, shopping and restaurants within walking distance of home.

Nestled right between Tidioute and Warren, our cabin is close to many sites within the National Forest: Buckaloons, Heart's Content, Rocky Gap, etc. There's also a great view of Crull's Island, a 96 acre paradise within the Allegheny Wilderness Area. Be on the lookout for heron, osprey, waterfowl, deer, and the amazing bald eagle!

The Whittled Duck River Camp property features 200 feet of river frontage, a deck overlooking the Clarion River and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Welcome to our Creekside Cottage! I have called this place home for most of my life, playing in the back yard, waving at the steady stream of kayakers or going creeking and exploring the islands. Nowadays, I still adventure out with my kids but you'll also find me kicking back and enjoying the sights from the big picture window or out on the back deck watching the sunset.
