Downstairs you’ll find living, dining and kitchen. Relax on the back deck with private yard or on the front porch watching passerbys.

The Cave Courtyard Guest Studio. A relaxing getaway located on the ground floor of an 1848 historic building just 1 block from the Mississippi River and unique shops and eateries. Sleeps 4 with a queen bed and daybed with pull out trundle, private entrance, private bath with shower, kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge, internet, cable tv and air-conditioning. There is also a private courtyard located below unique cliff side caves. Some food items are also supplied. Adults only-no pets.

This modern apartment is minutes from everywhere. A historic Wisconsin town hosting a variety of restaurants, bars, shopping and the Mississippi River runs right by downtown. This apartment is a 1 bedroom apartment that sleeps 6 with a queen size bed in the bedroom, a queen size sofa sleeper, and a queen sized Murphy bed in the living room. This apartment also includes a full size bathroom, a full kitchen, laundry area, and a dining room area. There is also a full parking area for boats/etc.

Located above our business downtown. It is on second story with steps so it is not handicap accessible. Newly remodeled in an owl theme. Dining area, full kitchen with coffee bar, and has a pull out couch if need extra bed space. Shared patio with a grill, and shared laundry facility down the hall. Apartment overlooks downtown. The windows in bedroom face the brick building next to us so there is no view from them. Parking is street parking out front or behind our building we have spaces.

There are two great restaurants in town open Thursday through Sunday that serve fish, shrimp, steak, burgers, and more. There is a local park just around the corner, and also docks available for fishing. Northeast Iowa has plenty to offer during your stay such as hiking, fishing, shopping, food, wineries, and more.

Enjoy the Depot Suite, established in 2024, located in the heart of Elkader, IA. This is an upstairs Suite. The Suite is located in the Main Street District featuring two bedroom, one bathroom along with a living room and a kitchen. This suite has everything you need to have a relaxing stay in Elkader, IA. The depot was built in 1875, then a flood destroyed the tracks. In 1882, Milwaukee Rd rebuilt the railroad to the depot. In 1973 the railroad was shut down. Updates coming soon!
