Marni’s Cottage-Rural location Lake District views

Overlooking the breathtaking fells & situated in a small Hamlet between two towns, Marni's Cottage offers a calm space perfectly positioned for stunning walks immediately out through the front door or to be used as a base to deeper explore the Lake District, an area of outstanding beauty. To the rear of the cottage is the iconic 140 mile C2C cycle path, which can be walked & leads into the coastal town of Whitehaven. Ennerdale with its beautiful remote & deep glacial lake, is only 5 miles away.

Little yurt

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . Beds are made with linen and throws. Supper cozy

The accommodation is ideal for workers to the area or visitors looking for a base to explore the wider region. The studio is within easy reach to Ennerdale Water (10 mins by car) and St Bees a lovely beach (15 mins). Lots of other walks nearby including the Wainwright C2C path and Longlands lake. Loweswater, Buttermere and Keswick are all within easy reach about 30 min drive.
