Casstevens Homestead Farm House (Entire House)

Casstevens Homestead House located on 145 acres near Mansfield. great for long walks in the country, or a place to get away. This is a working farm with livestock. House is approximately 150 years old, dating back 5 generations. There are large back pastures for walking out in the country. Pets are welcome, but we do have Great Pyrenees on the farm to protect our chickens. They are very friendly but the will probably greet you at the door. We can stable your horses for riding on request.

Just walking distance to the historic downtown Cleburne, you could not find a more charming and quaint place to enjoy your stay. The Yellow Jacket Cottage is close to downtown dining, shopping and entertainment. The house is near to a golf course at Kirtley park and we have golf clubs available for our guests. Across the street there is a lake and our guests can use the canoes and kayaks we have at the house.

Our newly remodeled, unique loft is across the street from Hulen Park, 10 minutes from Lake Pat and 30 minutes from Dinosaur World, Dinosaur Valley State Park and Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. It is clean, cozy and safe and we’re extremely proud of it! In Cleburne, you will find museums, hiking trails and plenty of antique shopping. It is our goal for you to have a comfortable, affordable and relaxing place to stay during your trip!

Cute cabin located on a working farm. Enjoy the horses and cows grazing right outside. Comfortable 2 bedrooms with a sleeping loft for the kids (horizontal only for adults). Hosts live on the same property so we will usually be available if you need anything during your stay. We prefer a low-distraction lifestyle, but a TV is available on request. Limited outdoor space available.
