This vintage building was originally built as a hotel in the late ‘60s and a hotel for the 1982 Worlds fair! Close to everything UTK and downtown Knoxville. Get a great nights’ rest in the queen size bed featuring “The Purple Mattress.” A convertible couch is great for additional guest or seating during the day. Kitchen includes the basics. This is our upstairs apartment. The home was built in 1930 and has been converted to a top and bottom duplex. The unit has two bedrooms, two baths, ample living space, full kitchen and a pull out sofa. My wife, daughter, son and I live downstairs with one small dog and two cats. The yard is fenced in and we welcome pets. The home is close to the historic neighborhoods of Old North Knox and Fourth and Gill. We are available if needed and are happy to recommend local things to do. Check in is 5PM

If you are into major shopping, Turkey Creek is only 8.4 miles away. 3 1/2 miles away is the Univ. of TN Arboretum. There you will find unique plants and trails.

Parking for two or more vehicles. Only two adults live in the main floor of the house.

The Karns Area home is located in a safe neighborhood. You will be staying in a one bedroom apartment with full kitchen and bathroom, small sitting area with loveseat and flat screen tv. Wi-FI and HD cable with Showtime and Starz. The apartment has its own private entrance as well as outdoor dining area/sitting area with two large porch swings under covered deck. Conveniently located 15 minutes from UT Campus, downtown Knoxville, and only 45 to 60 minutes to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Busha's Barn

Serenity and seclusion awaits you at Busha's Barn. The nicely appointed studio has everything you need to enjoy your visit. The kitchen has a full refrigerator, convection/microwave, two eye burner, coffee pot, toaster. Relax on the couch and watch tv or take a nap in the comfortable queen size bed. If you are working from home there is a desk and of course wfi. Situated on a heavily wooded acre surrounded by birds and wildlife. Take a short hike down the path to Beaver Creek.

TRAVELING NURSES WELCOME! 20min from Lafollette Hospital. 30min from Tennova North Hospital (Powell, TN) This is a well appointed delightful, completely and comfortably furnished SMOKEFREE 2 bedroom, one bath apartment located on the ground floor of our house. The surroundings include over an acre of thickly wooded area with ample parking for both cars and boats. About one half mile down the road is the very upscale Twin Cove marina. We do not allow animals.
