Treehouse close to the Anglesey Coast

In the depths of North-west Anglesey and close to the and coastal paths sits a quirky Treehouse. Tucked away a mile off the main road the little nest sits around a tree which grows inside the space. It shares its home with the owners as it sits in a corner of their garden. With peacocks (very early hooting during Spring), owls, a woodpecker, cats and dogs, there is plenty of amusement. The stars shine brightly, the surroundings are wild and not manicured but it is a haven for wildlife and birds

Beudy’r Esgob

‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. Lovingly renovated the historical signal house was built in 1841 for Liverpool Docks. The interior is beautifully presented. A perfect retreat for couples or a family of up to 6 for fun or romantic breaks. 2 dogs welcome. Most of our land is now fenced off so your dog can roam reasonably safely in 5 acres.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay, with stunning views of the Snowdonia Mountain range and Gors Y Ddreiniog (Nature Reserve), which is only a few minutes walk away. Also a great place for cyclists as on a cycle route. Tresgawen Hall Hotel & Spa only 1mile away, local beaches 10minutes drive, Benllech, Lligwy and Red Wharf Bay, where you will also find lots of places to eat and drink. The Market town of Llangefni is a 10minute drive, for all the local amenities.

Sitting in it's own field, our accommodation is part of eight acres of beautifully maintained private grounds with free-range chickens & ducks, pigs, red squirrels & barn owls. It is a truly tranquil retreat but is also perfectly located for those wishing to explore the island of Anglesey & the Snowdonia National Park is just 25 minutes away by car.

Beachfront home with uninterrupted spectacular views out to the Irish Sea. With private stepped access to the beach, our home comfortably sleeps 4 across 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, but can sleep up to 6 using the sofa bed in the second lounge. Enjoy sunsets from the decking relaxing on our sun loungers or find secluded spots on the cliff tops for even more privacy. The Annexe adjoins Ty Deryn Y Mor (also a holiday let), each has their own private garden, decking and path to the beach.

We love to welcome all guests to our converted dairy Tylluan Wen (Barn Owl) which is a stone building attached to the main house. The cottage can sleep up to 4 persons in one double and one twin room. We are a growing smallholding with alpacas, sheep and chickens. We also have two dogs. Tylluan Wen is located close to an area of outstanding natural beauty, with stunning scenery and easy access to the coast, attractions and transport routes. * Hot tub has extra charge.

The cottage is a beautiful barn conversion set in 8 acres of hay fields, woods, streams and ponds and less than 10 minutes from the coast.Large, open plan living area with handmade, fully equipped kitchen area. 2 double bedrooms, both with en-suites. One bedroom on the ground floor, the second bedroom being accessed by its own staircase. ( not from the ladder in living area) Cloakroom, outside sitting/dining area and full use of all the grounds. Ample parking.
