Jenny’s Folk Art Museum

Jenny's Folk Art Museum is a house from 1770, located in the historical district of Kinderhook Village, just a twenty minute drive north of Hudson. The house retains much character from a bygone era, with wide wooden floorboards, bumpy horsehair and plaster walls, and wavy glass window panes, and is crooked and "wabi sabi" as it can be. Jenny, an artist and avid collector herself, has filled the house with folk art, "outsider art", antique quilts, extraordinary art books, and her own creations.

The Cabbage is a cross between a cottage (by a lake) and a cabin (loaded with woodwork). Sleepy Hollow Lake is a unique community in Athens just across the River from the City of Hudson. Quaint Coxsackie is 3 mi. away. Enjoy the best of Hudson Valley food and shopping then bath in nature with paths, beaches, picnic areas, pools, basketball, tennis/pickleball. Plus speedy WiFi! It's a magical paradise on 1.5 acres where the deer roam freely around the grounds as well as bunnies and squirrels.

Garden Paradise minutes from Hudson

We are just a 10 minute drive from Hudson's bustling Warren Street in the historic hamlet of Claverack. We live on the property, but our guesthouse is separate and private. It's all surrounded by our 2 1/2 acre garden, which is our passion as well as our profession. We've recently adapted a 2 year old standard poodle named Nora. She is a very shy little girl, and will win your heart. We are sorry, but we do not accept pets or children under 12.
