Dreamy Vintage Forest Service "Bear" Cabin Glacier

This historic forest service log cabin was built around 1940, and has been completely renovated with new electrical and plumbing while maintaining the flavor of the 40’s down to original wood floor with cleat marks from foresters’ boots and original cupboards and ceilings. This cabin is a unique piece of Montana history you won't want to miss! Please note there is no smoking at all, neither inside the cabin nor outside on the property. We will report to Airbnb any breach of this rule. Thanks!

It is 3 miles from down town Col. Falls, MT and 30 minutes from Kalispell, MT and Big Fork, MT. Whitefish, MT is 20 minutes away. It is a very cute hobby farm area with beautiful views of Teakettle and Columbia Mtn ranges. Owners are onsite. Sorry no pets. Nonsmoking facility. Plenty of space for snow cats and trailers.

This is a newly constructed cabin done to luxury standards and is located on our farm down a private road, situated at the northern end of Flathead Lake. The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley.
