We offer one of the area’s only PRIVATE lake retreats. Come and enjoy a getaway in our peaceful lake community! The Town of Lake Waccamaw was incorporated in 1911, however, was inhabited by Native Americans for thousands of years. Southeastern North Carolina was covered by a shallow ocean more than two million years ago and you might find interesting fossils including sharks teeth, shells and coral as you swim in the shallow water. Be sure to visit Lake Waccamaw State Park to view the 2.75 million year old whale skull that was discovered embedded in a limestone outcropping several years ago. Measuring nearly 9,000 acres, the lake is unique in many ways ecologically with several endemic species of fish and mollusks (found nowhere else in the world).The lake is about 10 feet at the deepest with shallow waters along its shores, making it perfect for families with children. Tourist attractions include a local museum in a 1904 train depot, Lake Waccamaw State Park, our beautiful library, several restaurants, grocery and retail stores. The guest house is totally private from our home and features a vintage lake theme queen bedroom with flat screen television (Direct TV and DVD player), en suite bathroom with shower. All bed and bath linens are furnished. The common area/living room has a flat screen television (Direct TV and DVD player), a variety of movies, books and magazines, toys and board games for all ages. The fully equipped kitchen has a nice size refrigerator with a separate freezer, electric coffee pot or French press, microwave, and electric stove. A variety of cookware and utensils are available for your use as well as kitchen staple items. A washer and dryer is available in the garage below the apartment. We provide a few basic breakfast items for your first morning. There is a grocery store nearby for most anything else you would need. The living room couch/futon converts to a very comfortable full size bed. There is a large desk for our business clients and free WiFi. Other furnishings include a table with four chairs, rocking chair and leather recliner. Guests have access to an outdoor kitchen with a gas stove, and a double sink. You may use the charcoal or gas grill, enjoy the fire pit (wood provided), several bicycles, and two kayaks. We also have corn hole boards and other yard games you may use. Sorry, we are not able to accommodate your pets, but can recommend a delightful getaway for them. Although our log cabin isn’t on the lake front, it is just steps (the length of a football field!) from your apartment. You may use the pier for sunning, swimming, launching a kayak, fishing, relaxing or picnicking under the shaded canopy. Lake Waccamaw is conveniently located one hour from many beaches in Wilmington, N.C. and one hour from Myrtle Beach, S.C. We personally recommend Sunset Beach, which is about an hour.l

Escape the chaos of the city and immerse yourself in all that country living has to offer. Our cozy little spot is tucked away between Lake Waccamaw and Myrtle Beaches. We have all options available to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable, options including lending a hand in taking care of our adorable animals, especially our Service Dog, Stella, who we’ve affectionately named our apartment after, we have a horse, mule, and a friendly flock of chickens. Fresh eggs daily. No cats, no exception.

Nice condo fits 4 in prestigious Brunswick Golf.

Beautiful condo. Gated community. Balcony with views of the golf course. Secluded but close to shops, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle and Cherry Grove Beach are all less than 20 minutes away. Beautiful Calabash and its Riverfront is just 7 minutes away. North Myrtle beach is about 15 minutes away. *Important: Third floor, no elevator. *Important: Just renters with a 30 days or longer stays will have access to the community amenities (pools, etc) not a limit at the Ocean

condo with best golf views

Outstanding 2nd floor condo in Brunswick Plantation. Stunning views from the balcony of this totally updated condo. View the lagoon with egrets, blue herons, storks and more. Past the lagoon is the 8th green of the Magnolia . This condo not only has the best views but it also has the best interior features. Vinyl Plank flooring, granite counter tops, Stainless steel appliances. It is totally updated. Brunswick has a clubhouse on premise, great golfing. Close to great food and attractions.

Tee up and relax at our cozy condo, Hook, Line & Sinker, the perfect spot to unwind on one of the championship golf courses, or on a long walk on the beach. We have two bedrooms, one with a king bed and private bath, and the other with two queen beds, a large whirlpool tub, a shower, and efficiency kitchen with mini fridge, hot plate, microwave and coffee maker. A washer and dryer are in the unit. One set of linens and towels are provided. Toiletries provided. Exterior camera for security.

Adorable Downtown lodging-dogs welcome! Apt.102

This 1-bedroom & 1- bathroom is perfect for 1 or 2 guests. It’s in the heart of downtown so you may hear some traffic but it’s our most popular place! It has black out curtains, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker & a dining table. There’s a restaurant/bar downstairs so you may also hear some noise during their hours of operation.. they close Tues-Thur@ 8:00pm Fri -Sat@ 9:00pm & closed on Sun. & Mon. We were having WiFi issues but thankfully that's now been resolved and works great!!

You can fish from the shore or there is a $5 boat launch at the end of the road. We are a pet friendly community, however pets are not allowed in this rental. No smoking in the home permitted. Tiny house offers a full bathroom, efficiency room, full size fridge and stove.
