Enjoy entertaining on a large main deck or view the lake from the 2nd floor side deck. Relax on a 3rd private deck with a hot tub & outdoor shower.

Spacious enough for a large group but charming for a writer's solitude. The sunsets and night skies are what drew us here. They bring pink-cotton-candy clouds. Then the sun crowns the valley hills in mauve until the stars begin to make themselves visible. Slowly, a few at a time, until the entire sky is covered in brilliant stardust.

Midnight in the Hills offers three bedrooms (2 queens/1 twins), two bathrooms, and an open concept encompassing the kitchen, dining and living area. We are conveniently located within 3 miles from downtown, Market Days, Jacob’s Well & Blue Hole.

Old Hancock Trail is nearby and offers beautiful hiking along the lake. Canyon Lake Marina is also just a 10-minute drive away.

Enjoy the fresh air, visit the local wineries, take a splash in one of the spring-fed swimming holes, check out any one of the unique shops and lovely restaurants, and soak in all the beauty that the Texas Hill Country has to offer. Sit by the propane fire pit between two custom chairs after a relaxing dip in the stock tank pool that is heated!

Enjoy a stroll or hike to the creek, listen to nature, spot wildlife, roast marshmallows, and gather around the campfire. Kids love exploring the property. The experience is rustic, much like camping, rather than a hotel stay. ***Please note: due to drought and summer heat, the creek no longer flows directly in front of the cabin but is a short walk away.
