Dog Trot Guest Suites on the RW Ranch

Welcome to the hilltop on our 135 acre ranch. We are located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country with close proximity to everything! Our Dog Trot Guest Suites consists of 2 suites each with a queen bed, an additional sleeping area (daybed or trunnel) and private bath. Our 180 deg views are spectacular and the stars at night are big and bright! We are a short distance from Old Tunnel State Park, James Kiehl River Park, Sister Creek Winery, foodie restaurants and caves. Hope to see you soon!

The Corner Haus

The “Corner House” was built in 1954 by my parents, LeRoy and Colleen Bohnert, who made it their home for 63 years. Their home was filled with love and laughter and was a magnet for the neighborhood kids to play. My parents loved to entertain family and friends. My mother always had homemade cookies for to serve the guests. My husband and I remodeled the house in 2018. The house has two bedrooms, one bath, a screened porch which is perfect for morning coffee or that evening glass of wine.

Cabin In Comfort

A cozy cabin (guest house) in Comfort with all of the amenities of home. This restored guest house is 650 square feet with free internet access and cable TV, a full kitchen and original longleaf pine floors throughout. It is a short walk to the park, stroll along Cypress Creek on Gaddis Bluff or take a walk to downtown. Free parking in the driveway on the property or street parking is available. No cleaning fee. Weekly, monthly or longer stays are encouraged and are significantly discounted.

Chertecho Tree Tower

Designed to connect with the natural systems of a special place, Chertecho sits among the trees on a 5-acre rocky slope overlooking the Pedernales River Valley. An outdoor stair system connects the three levels - a covered rooftop deck; a second-floor master suite; and a ground floor kitchen space. Glass walls open to the wooded slopes of Big Hill, a ridge separating the Pedernales and Guadalupe watersheds halfway between Comfort and Fredericksburg. A place to unplug, and reconnect.

Briarwoode Farm Getaway

A cozy, convenient and peaceful spot on a working farm. This is a small apartment above separate garage with private entrance. Perfectly situated 5 minutes to Comfort, 25 to Kerrville, 25 to Fredericksburg & 20 to Boerne: Great for taking advantage of all the dining, shopping and attractions in the hill country. Also an especially good location for bicyclists & motorcyclists. One small house-trained dog that remains leashed while outdoors is welcome.

Stay in The District at Comfort Studio (Sleeps 2)

Welcome to the District at Comfort! This upstairs studio apartment is located just from 5 blocks from Comfort's famous High Street, enjoy easy access to shopping, wine tasting, live music and more. During your stay relax on the front patio, enjoy the back fire pit or be adventerous and explore the Texas Wine Country located in and around the Comfort area. This second floor studio apartment makes a perfect weekend get away or short term stay.

Riverside Cabin

The Riverside Cabin was originally constructed in 1935 as a Hill Country get-away to accommodate hunting, fishing and river activities. It is located on the original route to the Old Spanish Trail on the banks of the Guadalupe River, within 1/2 mile of Comfort's Historic District. Situated on 10 acres, the cabin is a quiet, private retreat and a comfortable central location for exploring the Hill Country.

The Historic Hotel on Main-The Chase (first floor)

The Chase includes the entire first floor of The Historic Hotel on Main. This 1890s Hotel has been lovingly restored. The Chase is a three bedroom, two bath suite that will sleep 8. Enjoy the open concept kitchen, living area, and dining room. There are two large flat screen TVs with Direct TV. The backyard includes a barbecue pit, picnic table and round bistro table with additional chairs.
