Escape to the backcountry and enjoy peace, solitude and modern amenities! Waking up and walking out to the patio opens up panoramic views of the surrounding 13,000'+ mountains and adjoining valley. This cabin is NOT for the faint of heart - it's 30+ miles from the nearest paved road and REQUIRES a high clearance 4x4 vehicle (most rentals will NOT make it without sustaining damage) in order to access the property safely. Please inquire to ensure your vehicle will be sufficient BEFORE booking :).

Located just west of Terrace Reservoir Lake. Cabin rentals, RV Hookups, RV Boondocking and Tent Campsites. Day Hike, Swim, ATV, Backpack or simply relax. Additional attractions within a reasonable drive are the Great Sand Dunes National Park, whitewater rafting & Cumbres Toltac Narrow Guage Railroad.

We offer a great cabin, a stones thrown from the river on our elk ranch. Our all-season cabin can accommodate couples, or groups up to 6, and serve as a home base or launching spot for the areas countless activities. We also offer fly fishing access, if available with a rod fee, this is seperate from cabin, and must be booked in advance. We charge a $100 per pet fee.
