There is a large parking area with a covered outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities directly accessible from the main kitchen. And also a covered area to relax in the hot tub. This is a beautiful recently renovated courtyard cottage (adults only) offering luxury accommodation with beautiful views over the gardens, lake, pool and a lovely wooded valley, just a short drive from Clonakilty. It has been lovingly decorated to a very high standard. The courtyard is accessed by a beautiful archway. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool (01 May-01 Oct) and a sauna & hot tub (01 Oct-01 May). Guests have access to the gardens for strolls and picnics and a tennis court.

Our Glamping Snug offers studio accommodation catering for up to four people. Ideal for couples or young families. The layout of the Snug is a studio with full Double Bed, Double Sofa Bed, Kitchenette with Sink, Gas Hob, Kettle, Toaster, Coffee Machine, Fridge and Breakfast Bar and an ensuite Bathroom with Shower.

The village is locally know as 'The Harbour', this stems from the 9th Century invasion of the Vikings who sailed as far as the Monastery in Glanworth. Owenie's Cottage is surrounded by medieval buildings and Old Mills . It is across the road from a castle with walks to the beautiful River Funcheon.
