Gosling Lodge is situated within the grounds of a 16th Century working arable farm. Overlooking an attractive pond packed full of wildlife, Gosling Lodge is the perfect place to relax and take in the rural surroundings of Durham's countryside. We are situated adjacent to Hamsterley Forest in the stunning landscape of the northern dales on the edge of the Pennine moors, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Picturesque Weardale is only four miles to the North, the breathtaking sights of Teesdale only six miles to the South. It is an ideal base for outdoor activities, and close to the historic cathedral city of Durham.
