Beautiful stone cottage close to Centre parcs

An oasis of calm set in rolling countryside this cottage is in the center of Ireland perfect for touring ,cycling ,golf ,walking or just relaxing. It would appeal to families for summer breaks or small groups for extended weekend breaks(book clubs etc.) It caters for holiday makers only. It offers comfortable accommodation to a high standard with lots of character including shuttered sash windows ,exposed beams ,luxurious claw bath and 2 wood burning stoves and a conservatory for birdwatching.

Historic House in the Midlands

Harbour View is a fully restored historic 3-storey townhouse on the Market Square in Longford Town. It has been finished to a very high standard with large living rooms and separate kitchen/dining on the ground floor opening onto a private courtyard. Two large double bedrooms on the first floor with a spacious bathroom and a third double bedroom and fourth bedroom with bunk beds on the second floor served by a large showerroom. This is an ideal base to explore the Hidden Heartlands of Ireland.

Toddys Cottage, Studio & Stables

Toddys Cottage is suitable for a family, couples or small group of friends who want a break away in a rural peaceful setting. Nestled in beautiful country farmland and only 5 minute drive to local town Ballinagh where there is shops, pubs, restaurants, & pharmacy. Beautiful area for walking & fishing as Cavan is renowned for its rivers and lakes. 4 New stables are available to rent separately and also Toddy’s Hideaway studio is new on same grounds as Cottage sleeping 2 and can be rented also.

The Authentic Log Cabin

The Authentic Log Cabin is a traditional round log cabin built from homegrown timber in 2004 Situated off the shores of Lough Derravaragh, this is the perfect escape from the modern world. Relax around the campfire after a day of fishing, hiking and exploring historical sites. There is no better place to watch the sunset and star gaze when night falls. This is for true nature lovers. The basic facilities and lack of electricity foster togetherness and bring out that real outdoors feeling.

Longford Holidays Blue Sky Self Catering Cottage

Our self catering cottages are all partially accessible with 4 bedrooms including a downstairs double ensuite. Sleeps up to 7 people plus an optional double sofa bed. Surrounded by serene countryside & nature it is the ideal location to unwine with family & friends. The cottage is fully fitted and furnished including kitchen, full cooking & laundry appliances, sitting room with vaulted ceiling and breakfast room with electric fire. Bed linen and towels are included. Minimum 2 nights stay.

It is situated 1.5km from the N4 and 1.5km from Derrycarne Forest. It is 4km from the beautiful Dromod Village which boasts excellent restaurants, bars, shops and is also home to a Railway Museum. Dromod & Carrick-on-Shannon are serviced daily by the Dublin to Sligo train. The property is just a 10 minute drive from Carrick-on-Shannon.
