The cottage is ideally situated for touring the east, midlands and south east of Ireland. Activities in the area include cycling & walking. Carlow town has many great restaurants, pubs, shops, lots of family friendly activities, arts and cultural attractions, recreational parks and designated walks.

You are welcome to Lough Aisling and our chalet, situated on the lake’s edge. Enjoy many lake views and see otters, swans, ducks, little grebes and perhaps a fleeting glimpse of a kingfisher. Lough Aisling is an ideal location for nature photography and an artist’s paradise. Along 5km of walkways, you are free to explore the biodiversity of lakes, woodland, wild meadow, shrubbery, bogland and esker. There are lots of popular local attractions close by to enjoy in Ireland’s hidden heartlands.

One-room cabin with 3 sets of bunkbeds, top bunks are pretty tight for space so we recommend these for kids. Guests share a well-maintained kitchen and bathrooms, fostering a communal yet private atmosphere. Ideal for all seeking a retreat with convenient transport links and a welcoming, homey environment.
