Take a break to unwind in beautiful Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island - about a 40 minute drive from Victoria BC. Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

Welcome to your lakefront oasis in Youbou, British Columbia. Designed as a place for friends and family to gather, the Youbou Lakehouse is a sanctuary where you can unwind and connect with the natural world. Enjoy private lake access, a stunning view, 2 outdoor fire pits, paddle boards, a gorgeous sauna, salt water hot tub, and a massive 85” TV with surround sound. Have fun, but no parties, and please choose another spot if you are unwilling to be considerate of our wonderful neighbors.

Nestled in Genoa Bay is the relaxing Peace Garden Oceanfront Guest Retreat. The jewel in the crown of this luxurious master suite is its awe inspiring view across the bay. Watch birds and marine wildlife during your morning coffee on your private outdoor deck. Relax pierside or beachcomb for treasures on the small rock beach. After a day of adventure, bask in your soaker tub, then watch the moon rise over the sea before enjoying a quiet peaceful night's sleep in your plush king bed.

River Walk Retreat

Enjoy your stay in this cozy, bright one-room suite. The space features one full-sized bed along with a pull-out couch. A well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. Property is surrounded by nature with Bright Angel Park right outside the back gate. Take your morning coffee, stroll along the trails and be at the river within minutes. A barn on the property is home to numerous chickens, roosters and two inquisitive emus. Enjoy a memorable vacation in this beautiful setting!

The nearby communities and lush Cowichan Valley invites you to explore the area by hiking or biking the nearby mountain trails and single track runs, whale watching, fishing or sightseeing by boat, or paddling by kayak or paddle board among the twin river fed bird estuary in the back yard. The area hosts a plethora of bird life from hummingbirds, kingfishers, woodpeckers, herons, eagles and trumpeter swans to name a few!

Maple Bay Seaside Suite

Escape to our private one-bedroom suite nestled in the heart of Maple Bay on beautiful Vancouver Island. This cozy haven offers sweeping ocean views and a perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Steps from the water and public beach enjoy sightings of seals, otters, birds, and even whales. Ideally located to explore the Cowichan Valley’s scenic trails, award winning wineries, and vibrant local scene - making it the perfect base for both relaxation and outdoor exploration.

Coastal Garden Inn

The guest suite features a private entrance with a bed, small kitchen and a bathroom in the first room. A small bedroom next to it can be used for more sleeping space, and the den next to it features a woodstove and 2 more sofa beds. There is a second bathroom off the den that also serves as a changing room. There is a covered patio with a BBQ, a fire pit, a hot tub, sauna, and a shower/steam room outside. The yard is very private so you can enjoy yourselves at all hours.

Newly built 2 bedroom and loft, lakefront cottage located in the west arm of the stunning Shawnigan Lake. Open concept kitchen and living room. Large deck with outdoor kitchen, dining area, bbq and fire pit. Outdoor shower, full laundry facilities and brand new large dock. Great for groups up to 8, and amazing for families with kids. Beach toys and some water toys as well as life jackets are available for use. Amazing year round accommodation with guaranteed relaxation!

Nature's Edge - Mill Bay Ocean View Suite

Stunning oceanfront getaway. Bright, quiet and clean two bedroom suite with spectacular ocean views. Located next to Mill Bay Nature Park which has access to the beach. A five minute drive to Brentwood College School and ten minute drive to Shawnigan Lake School. Mill Bay shopping centre and wineries close by. Ample 2 vehicle parking, fast wifi, cable TV, heat pump with air conditioning and private covered patio overlooking beautiful Mill Bay.

A fully stocked kitchen will allow you to create meals to be enjoyed on the beautiful deck on stilts over the Pacific Ocean. Don’t want to cook? That’s okay too! The community of Cowichan bay with its famous restaurants, pub, ice cream store & an abundance of local shops are all within walking distance.

Oceanfront Studio with Hot Tub

We're located oceanfront in beautiful Maple Bay near biking/hiking trails, Maple Bay beach, pubs and restaurants. This cozy Studio offers stunning views and is complete with a kitchenette, full-piece bathroom and a hot tub. Suite has its own private entrance. Kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge, induction stove top, convection oven/microwave/air fryer. Please note: Driveway is sloped, with set of stairs to Guest Suite.
