Welcome to our quiet, secluded guesthouse in Winlock WA. You'll love our natural setting forest and wildlife. We are conveniently located 3.8 miles off I-5 between Portland & Seattle. Activities would be hiking, day trips to Mt. Rainer, Mt. St. Helen, Lewis and Clark National Forest, and many other natural areas. Factory outlet stores in Centralia. Home includes 1 queen bed, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom with 2 entrances. Private gravel driveway. Handicap accessible.

You'll have the entire newly remodeled home on 1/2 acre to yourselves, complete with game room and outdoor fire pit, grassy area for badminton, and cornhole. Just a short walk (about 1/2 mile) to the Speelyai Bay Rec. Area/boat ramp which opens up into Lake Merwin. Kayaks provided during summer months and there is plenty of parking.

The Carpenter's Cottage

The carpenter's cottage is decorated in vintage woodworking and logging tools that have been used for several generations in our family. Rainier has a rich history of logging, lumber and woodworking. Some tools have been found nearby. Enjoy a peaceful country setting with deer, birds, occasional bobcat, squirrels, raccoons, occasional elk, but is a short walk to town. Watch deer munch on apples and relax in the shade as you walk around our 14 acres or enjoy them from your windows.

We are in a small quiet neighborhood where you can unplug + recharge, do nothing or do everything the area has to offer with a plethora of year round activities.

Batwater Station Houseboat on the Columbia River

Columbia river waterfront floating home affords Birdseye (osprey, eagles & more!) views of this river and riparian wonderland. Whether you're fishing, relaxing, creating or bird and wildlife watching, this 1,400SF houseboat is the perfect space to decompress. While your cozy inside, the expansive windows brings the outdoors in. Fast internet, streaming tv or Apple music, will keep you connected to the outside world, but why not escape. Studio apartment above a garage, BEHIND the pictured house. Private entrance, off-street parking; 325 sq feet including full kitchen, tub and shower, queen bed (memory foam), dining table, TV. Located on lovely Lake Sacajawea with its tree-filled park. Walk or bike the perimeter (3+ miles) or part of the lake. House is a short distance from the hospital on the opposite side of the lake. Many of our guests are "travelers," medical professionals working on short-term contracts.
