Nearby attractions include Lake Minnewaska Park, Mohonk Preserve, Sam’s Point, the Shawangunk Wine Trail, Ellenville and Blue Cliff Monastery. The location also provides convenient access to explore many of the Hudson Valley and Catskill towns and villages.

Shingle Gully 乡村小屋

The Shingle Gully Cottage is located on over 40 acres of privately-owned land bordering Sam’s Point Preserve. The cottage is located on the outskirts of Ellenville NY. The town is situated at the base of the rolling Catskills within the Shawangunk valley. Within the cottage, there is a pellet stove that will be lit on chilly nights upon request. Maximum number of guests/visitors/people permitted on the property is 2. The owner lives on the property and is available for anything guests may require.

A stone's throw are Stonehill Barn and Inness. 15 min drive to the incomparable Minnewaska State Park.

We provide ALL you need: clean towels, cooking essentials, complimentary high-end loose tea /coffee, friendly atmosphere, and good local advice. Apartment is a half basement part of a house but has full privacy.

We built a studio-house on the foundation of an old summer cottage. We did not expand the footprint, but furnished it with select pieces and appliances and gave it contemporary finishes. We also added a screened porch, open deck and stone patio. The woodland and mountain views are lovely, while the location is convenient to Lake Minnewaska State Park and the Mohonk Preserve. Ulster County levies a 4% tax on overnight stays. Payment is made anytime between confirmation and arrival.

Shawangunk House

The house was built in 2018. It is very modern and open. It is located 8 minutes from Minnewaska State Park, 10 minutes from the Mohonk Preserve, and 30 minutes from the Catskills. There is a Smart TV. There is also a record player with a large record selection. There is strong WIFI and great cell phone coverage from all carriers. We have an EV level 2 charger. There is an additional charge to use the charger. Please contact us if you want to add charging to your stay.

Share some of the fruits of our garden and cook in the fully equipped kitchen or grill on the porch after hiking, touring or just hanging out in hammock. Later, warm up by the wood stove, with a glass of wine or a book, get the chill out in the hot tub and see the stars or roast s'mores in the fire pit.

We live upstairs & offer self-check-in. A rare find in the Hudson Valley, our neighborhood is mostly flat, with walkable, quiet roads, and excellent bird-watching. It's an easy bike ride to connect to the vast state-wide rail trail system & all that the Mohonk Preserve has to offer.

Located just minutes from Minnewaska State Park and all the beauty and fun the Shawangunks have to offer!
