Perfect for a walking holiday, with the Pennine way and the canal nearby and Malham, Bolton Abbey just down the road. Apartment in picturesque Orton village, Cumbria

Town End Barn is a spacious apartment in the pretty village of Orton. Situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Lake District National park is on the doorstep too. The barn has private entrance, garden, underfloor heating and a well equipped kitchen. The bedroom has a king-size bed. A large sofa bed sleeps extra guests. Children's accessories & toys are available too. Orton has a an award-winning cafe, a friendly pub serving great food, a well stocked shop and even a chocolate factory!

Little Hawthorn Studio

This is a romantic little hideaway. With its own entrance and and lovely outdoor seating. The mattress is top quality. There is small living room/ kitchen, that is just big enough to prepare food and has everything you need - fridge, hot plate, air fryer, microwave, toaster and kettle. The pub across the road serves lovely food and beer and has atmosphere. Lovely views and great walking. Wood burning stove in the bedroom. We love people and will be happy to help but will respect your privacy.

Shed End, in 18th century Lothersdale Mill

In the Weaving Shed of an attractive former textile mill, on the Pennine Way in North Yorkshire. The small rural valley of Lothersdale is five miles from Skipton and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We offer bikes, many country walks, and the excellent water comes from an aquifer (no chemical treatment). Popular tourist towns of Skipton and Haworth are nearby. * Shed End and my other place, The Workshop, are in the same building.

It is situated in an ideal location being a just a few minutes flat walk from all the amenities of the Town Centre, Bus and Train Station and close to the famous Ilkley Moors , Riverside Gardens and 1950's Lido .

The village has a great pub, cafe and community shop with locally sourced & eco-friendly produce. Bronte Country, Pendle Hill and Skipton (the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales) are under half an hour drive away. Howden Nook is in a fantastic position to explore the Yorkshire Dales, (Skipton is only 15 minutes away), the historic village of Haworth (15 minutes), the moors for fabulous walking and the Worth Valley Railway is close by. There is good parking on the private road and by the flat. There is ramp access to the flat and rails to assist mobility to the bath/shower.
