Higgins lake, with a small beautiful beach is just a 5 minute drive from the cabin.

The bottom story is a finished lower level with a separate entrance and living area from the homeowners above. The suite has a walk out onto the patio with a gentle slope to 200 ft of rocky bottom river frontage. This is located five miles from the city of Grayling. You will be close to hiking trails, hiking, snowmobile trails, and skiing.

Au Sable Busted Grouse小木屋

The Cabin at The Busted Grouse is the quintessential northern Michigan chalet. With views over the famous Au Sable River just east of Grayling, it offers exceptional fly fishing, paddling, or simply relaxing. One mile from the Mason Wilderness Tract, view eagles, deer and other wildlife out the front door, relax beside the peaceful South Branch of the Au Sable, a trout stream (catch and release, please), hunt in fall, enjoy cross-country skiing at several nearby trails including the 12-mile-long Mason Tract Trail, ski rentals, lessons and trails nearby. Forest Dunes Golf club and many other Golf courses are not faraway. If you like the ORV trails you can enjoy riding right out of the driveway. We are surrounded by state land for those whom like to hunt when in season. This is definitely an all seasons location for all your outdoor pleasures.
