Just a short drive to all the happenings in Traverse City. Thousands of acres of snowmobiling and cross country skiing right out the back gate. Private and Safe place to hang your hat for the night or a couple of weeks. Adults over 18 only, we cannot accommodate children or infants . Located only 30 minutes from Traverse City, Boyne Mountain Resort, and Gaylord. 20 minutes from Torch Lake and Bellaire. 15 minutes from Shanty Creek Golf and Ski Resort. The location is great for 4 seasons of outdoor fun. The cottage includes a huge deck which overlooks the lake, a large dock, 5 kayaks, a rowboat, and a pedal boat!

Highly recommended for a unique, quiet get away.

Walk miles of groomed trails on a 90-acre horse farm. This area is also a birders paradise, with many uncommon species. Sit around the campfire and cook your dinner on a handmade brick charcoal grill. Privacy and solitude await a memorable camping experience. Located in the southwest corner of beautiful Grand Traverse County.

Vintage waterfront log cabin nestled among trees in a serene setting. Fully furnished interior, water facing deck with table/chairs, charcoal BBQ and bird feeder. Grounds include fish and boat houses, five boat docks, small sandy beach, lawn games, self powered water craft and powered rental boats. Community fire pits and firewood for sale. Excellent star gazing and occasional Northern Lights. Good fishing lake, tons of birds, deer, swans, beaver, otters, ducks, bears, etc.

Ludington Cozy Quiet Cottage

Recently remodeled 3-bedroom knotty-pine home, just south of town. Bath and a half with walk-in shower. 2 downstairs bedrooms each have a queen bed and bunkbeds, perfect for families. Upstairs bunkhouse sleeps 4 including 2 private sleeping cubicles. 12 beds plus sofas offers lots of sleeping quarters. Large wooded yard w/ lots of parking. Large fire pit w/ lots of chairs. 2-3 Miles to several beaches, boat launches, golf and disk courses.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. It is a unique 'glamping' experience that submerses you in nature without the work of setting up and tearing down a tent. The tent is located in a quiet and spacious campground at the Pine River Paddlesports Center. The bathroom building (complete with hot, running water, flush toilets, and coin-operated showers!) is a short walk from the tent site. WiFi is available if needed in our office.
