Wee Nook - a Hobbit Hole

Wee Nook is a 360 square foot living space with a full kitchen and bathroom. It is tucked underground in the middle of the woods. Please come enjoy the woods, farm animals, trails, pond and wide open space while you're here! As JRR Tolkien said: “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hold, and that means comfort.”

Welcome to our modern sanctuary nestled in the serene woods of Smithville, just a stones throw away from the tranquil waters of Center Hill Lake. Solace Sphere offers a contemporary twist on the classic dome design, featuring a one bedroom layout with a loft, complemented by a rejuvenating waterfall shower and top-of-the-line appliances for your comfort and convenience. We are located 1-1/2 hours from Nashville and 3 miles from Pate’s Ford Marina Bar and Grill. We hope you find your Solace.

This magical cabin is conveniently located for travelers, yet Ambleside feel like a remote retreat nestled in the woods above Elk Fork Creek. The Cottage is an adorable tiny house, offering 500 square feet of living space with a kitchenette, a sitting area, and a bathroom with a shower. The queen-size bed is upstairs in the sleeping loft.

We are located between Nashville (45min), Bowling Green (35min) and Mammoth Cave (55 min).
