Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop every morning. Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

A luxury wood cabin situated in 3 acres of private ancient woodland. The cabin has been hand crafted using reclaimed materials from an old mill in Chester and is fully insulated. Sorry, no dogs – to protect our ancient woodland and the endangered red squirrels who live here.

Abigail and Andrew offer a warm welcome to Ivythwaite Cottages, situated in the grounds of a traditional Lakeland stone and flint guest house in beautiful Windermere.
