Peaceful retreat to unplug and unwind. This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. (Tub is still under construction. Landscaping and some final details are not finished.) Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.

An Ozark Oasis in the middle of a working cattle ranch, this custom designed home offers deluxe comfort. Wildlife is often visible from the comfort of the wrap around porch. The interior is bright and airy featuring hardwood floors, exposed beams, and vaulted ceilings.

The Ranch House cabin (2020)at Old Desperado Ranch has a rustic western cowboy theme. The stone fireplace (electric) was hand made with local rocks from the creeks and rivers. The two bedroom cabin is very spacious and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Just bring your food! The cabin is dog friendly, see pet policy. Or, add it to your larger group renting our house next door (Hardy Lakehouse Lilypad)! Enjoy your own dock on the lake or paddle and fish the rivers close by. Kayaks for the lake are included with your rental. Conveniently located just 2 miles to downtown Hardy or Cherokee Village. Walmart close by for easy shopping.
