A great place on Blue Ridge Parkway for a getaway

My place is on Blue Ridge Parkway on mile post 191.4. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambience, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Two Bed Rooms (One King Size and one Queen size beds) Security Camera; One Camera is pointed at the front door. NO CAMERA POINTED AT THE DECK!!!!!! Hideaway Log Cabin

Unique place has a style all its own. It is private, one year old now and hand worked by owner. NO PETS. Small 350+ sq feet. Open floorplan, no separate bedroom. Large front porch with wooden rockers. Kitchen is very small, with most everything except for oven. Has two small ponds with fish in them loaner poles and tackle in closet no license required. It's in the woods there is wildlife, stream and old growth trees to view. Park style charcoal grill in the yard. Hammock, picnic area at ponds.

Come enjoy this peaceful piece of mountain living. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere with neighbors hidden by the woods. You will have the entire upper level including an open loft with plenty of games, books, and toys. Nestled on Sauratown Mountain on 10 acres, Sauratown Mountain trails very close by with a view of Pilot Mountain from my very spacious deck. Nearby hiking, ziplining, canoeing and state parks await you. Or just relax on the hammock in the shade. Do you!

The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

We have seasonal berries and a well-stocked fishing pond. Visit the state parks then come home to catch a breeze on the porch swing, watch fireflies or roast hotdogs at the fire pit.
