Nestled up against a hillside, it is quiet at night. This little community of cabins is being enhanced. Walking distance to the 'heart' of Birch Bay. Near the State Park.

On warmer days, cool off with a swim in the crystal-clear waters of nearby Silver Lake.

The Logs at Glacier Springs is the perfect getaway after a day on the mountain or exploring the surrounding Mt. Baker wilderness. Bookings are only offered with a guided boat taxi ride from Deep Cove, round trip included per booking. Generally guests remain at the cabin for the duration of their stay making it necessary to bring all groceries needed. Once at Fernleecove the property offers a natural setting to enjoy the ocean & woods from a comfortable cabin hideaway.

Situated between Bellingham and Mount Baker, the cabin is in the ideal place to experience urban tourism in Bellingham and the majestic beauty of the mountains. 45 min from Mt Baker Ski Area, you’ll be surrounded by the best of the Pacific Northwest, a great base for year-round activities in the Mount Baker area. We hope that our cabin will provide comfort for all the adventure or a peaceful cozy spot to unwind.

Our log home was built to replicate historical buildings in BC with a roof line borrowed from Quebec. The main floor is an open concept with a kitchen, dining area and living room. Bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. I have a clawfoot bathtub but do not have a shower. The back yard is large and fenced for kids and a dog to enjoy. Bring your own wood if you want to use the fire pit. Bring pods if you want to use the Keurig or Nespresso.

In these rather adventurous times in our world, we invite you to watch the sun set early over the mountain and feel the cool breeze sweeping down its steep face. Go to sleep to the sound of a creek roaring in the distance, wake up to the sound of beautiful birds. Have a fire, play bocce, go for a hike through nearby teapot hill. Unwind in our space and let it all fall away. We welcome you to breath deeply and relax at our cabin.
