The Venetian Residence is the ideal spot to explore the old city of Chania but also the countryside of the region. The nearest beach is 10 min. on foot.

The apartment Anaxagoras consists of an open-plan residential complex and is characterized by an imposing original Venetian arch, which separates the kitchen and living area from sleeping. It is built on the exact same spot of an older lodging, a "magatze" as we call it here, that served our family during the olive's harvest. The name of the olive groves around the house is Sotirali and may be a corruption of the Turkish name "Sotir Αli".
