Calling groups who love the outdoors in all seasons! A perfect spot for groups with lots of space inside and out. We have 3 dining areas (1 outside), 2 living rooms and a "bunkhouse" with a TV to send the kids up to play! The house is fully stocked with bath & beach towels plus everything you need in the kitchen. Plus...cornhole, 2 stand up paddleboards, 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, a row boat and a splash pad! NEW in fall 2024: we've added a new dining table for ten, new mattresses and new bedding!

Enjoy all the lake has to offer in this adorable lake front cabin with amazing views! Watch the sunrise from the kitchen while you sip a cup of coffee. The sunsets from our beach can’t be beat. The beach is sandy with no sea wall & perfect for swimming! The beach and dock are shared with 3 other cabins. Welcome to our cozy cottage just across the street from Houghton Lake! Enjoy the nicest street on the lake, with lake views from the living room, dining room/kitchen, & the additional family room. Enjoy a glass of wine watching sunset from the large front deck and Amish seating. Lake access is a block away. Small boats may launch there. ORV trailhead is very close (we ride to the trailhead from the cottage), plus snowmobile trails, and state land. Public boat launch under 3 miles away.

South Shore Cottage Retreat

Centrally located cottage on the South Shore at Houghton Lake and 40 paces to your private dock access. Nearby restaurants, grocery stores, "mom and pop" shops, public DNR access, and other local attractions. The cottage is located in a private and quiet family setting where you can unwind. Property is within walking distance to Redwood Golf Course and Markey Township Park. Newly remodeled with a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a large screen flat TV for movie night.

Our beautiful home is centrally located and close to all that Houghton Lake offers. With 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, there is room for everyone. There is high speed WiFi, as well as a dedicated workspace. Our kitchen is waiting for the chef of the family. The lower level has a large gathering area with a bar and separate game room.
