Hello! Our home is an 1890 Victorian mansion that we purchased in 2016 and lovingly renovated using a team of local craftspeople and myself. This space is a 2 bed, 2 bath that spans 2 stories with much of its original character preserved. Located in the heart of Midtown just one block from 15+ dining options, Shinola and way more. The space is designed with leisure stays, but also capable of accommodating business travelers. Coffee+Cocktails are now available downstairs, opened in 2023! 8AM-11PM

Shops and restaurants are nearby. Hop on the Q Line to head Downtown or grab a city bike/scooter! If your plans take you far away, grab a car. This is the Motor City, after all. This garden-level private studio is a modern addition to the home. Within walking/ scooter distance are Wayne State University, Woodbridge Pub, Midtown Detroit, and Motor City Casino. Downtown Detroit and Corktown are within 7 minutes by car and Uber/Lyft. Woodbridge is conveniently accessible to most major freeways.

Sky Carriage House: Light, Bright, Corktown Escape

You'll be staying in our newly constructed carriage house at the back of our property in the heart of Corktown - Detroit's oldest historic neighborhood. This private dwelling is accessed from the back alley entrance and offers high ceilings and a panoramic view of downtown and the surrounding neighborhood. The unit features 1 bedroom/1 bath, living, dining, laundry and a full kitchen. In warmer months a small cafe seating area is situated on the spanish rock drive along the green alley.

You'll love this clean & bright basement studio w/private entrance! Bonus - We donate 10% of our earnings to groups supporting LGBTQIA rights & fighting food insecurity! We have a small dog and a cat. Smudge & Commander Muffins won't be in your space while you're with us (& are rarely there otherwise), but if you have animal allergies, this is likely not the best place for you. A short drive to downtown Royal Oak, Ferndale, Birmingham, and also to fabulous & historic Detroit.

The apartment is located in Woodbridge, a residential, quiet and safe neighborhood, about 1.5 miles from Downtown/Midtown.
