Raccoon Retreat

Hi, Welcome to Raccoon Retreat! This is a house that you will be able to come to unplug, unwind and reconnect with family, friends and all of what nature has to offer. The home is located within the ‪Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area‬. Here you will have the opportunity to take advantage of hiking trails, waterfalls, swimming, zip lining, fishing, horseback riding, canoeing and kayaking, as well as skiing or snowtubing during the snowy season. Though you get to experience nature here, you are only a short drive away from restaurants, casino, shopping and also water parks. The entire home is all yours! Our three story home sits on a one acre wooded lot. In the event you are just wanting to get away to hunker down here, we have designed the space to feel cozy and warm. Hygge House- Backyard Hiking, Bethel Woods

Peter and I recently bought and renovated this 1790 farmhouse which sits on a sloping hill overlooking Minisink Battleground Park. You can walk off the deck, cross the lawn and explore 50 acres of beautiful trails. On a private road, the house has plenty of peace and quiet. There are two charming bedrooms, two full baths, a cozy living room, sun room (third bedroom), fully stocked kitchen, and laundry room. We've loved making these rooms a bit more modern while keeping the farmhouse vibe.

Quiet property,almost 8 acres, of beautiful wooded property . Set back from the road. Many trails, wineries and breweries nearby. Legoland is 20 minutes away and many antique shops within 30 minutes or so. We live in the other house on the property, so we are accessible. You can take a stroll on the path by the stream or sit on the spacious 35 x 10 foot deck and enjoy the natural setting of the property. Fire pit is now available. Enjoy the night air and gaze at the stars.
