Surrounded by hills, apple orchards and cow paddocks. You have views across the water to Bruny Island. There are vineyards and distilleries close by. Simple, but modern and comfortable styling. It is warm, quiet and private and a perfect base for you to explore Southern Tasmania.

The Huon Burrow is a unique underground dwelling nestled into the hillside with amazing views over the Huon River within easy walking distance of cafes and restaurants at historic Franklin in the Huon Valley. The Huon Burrow has half a metre of material on the roof composed of soil, gravel and insulation on top of a waterproof barrier, then 20 tons of concrete and one ton of reinforced steel.
