The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. Friends become family here. Come and become a part of the Griffin’s story.

Two story Lake Superior rental, attached to main home, but with private entrance and living space. Second level sleeps up to 5 with 2 queen beds + futon. Main floor has kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. Speak to host first before booking if bringing children 2-12. Perfect place to begin biking, hiking, water activities, or your drive up the scenic North Shore. Owners live on property with friendly indoor dogs. The home is very inviting and extremely clean. No smoking anywhere on property.
