Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Kinney Valley Farm

This rustic, but modernized farmhouse is on 110 acres of woods and apple orchards. Snow is great now! Cross country ski trails are " skier-groomed" on our property. Multiple areas for groomed skiing are within 30-45 minute drives. Located just 3 miles from the south shore of Lake Superior, and 30 minutes from the Apostle Island Sea Caves, spectacular now with winter ice sculptures, Kinney Valley Farm is a cozy place to stay, while exploring the pastoral winter beauty of Northern Wisconsin.

Across the street is the Munger Trail for those that prefer to bike and hike on pavement. The St. Louis River is located right down the road for boating, fishing, or kayaking. Lake Superior is within a short 10 minute drive.

Valhalla Townhouse is just a few miles outside the cute town of Cable Wisconsin. This property sits adjacent to an old ski hill and walking distance from the American Birkebeiner Trail head. Miles of trails are just out your door for cross country skiing, mountain biking, snowmobiling, hiking and ATV's. The large great room has an imposing stone fireplace, comfy couches and a dining table for 10. The perfect place for families & groups to gather for events or to just be together.

We couldn’t be more heart warmed, to welcome you to our little piece of Heaven in the World! 21 acres with over 600 feet of private sandy shores on the most spectacular bay of Lake Superior. There’s a Lake House with currently 2 bedrooms to share(Note: 2nd bedroom is in an open loft). Short path and then 12 steps to the beach! There’s an adorable boat house too, that’s where we stay when we are up at the Lake. Beautiful silence, darkness, adventure, and serenity awaits.
