Nestled at the foot of the majestic Mourne Mountains, our thoughtfully designed pod is warm, welcoming, and fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Whether you're hiking the nearby trails, enjoying a stroll along the seafront, or just unwinding with a book and a cup of tea, this is the perfect base.

Panorama, peace, nature. The Lookout

Luxurious and spacious glamping pods in a natural paradise. The views to the mountains and the sea are fantastic. The upper of our 2 pods is designed so you can enjoy the 180 degree view while enjoying the comforts of inside: it is the perfect place to relax. The mature and large site is full of birdsong and places for children to explore. We're far from busyness and lights so the peace and the stars can be appreciated. Yet it's under 20 minutes to beaches and mountains, less to the forests.

Mast House, Portaferry

Mast House is located 20 seconds from the shore. It’s eclectically furnished with big, bright rooms and a conservatory, patio & garden. There’s central heating, a wood burner and a range of kitchen appliances inc coffee machine. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with roll top bath. The shower is off the kitchen. Note the property has stone steps at the front door/inside, a cast iron spiral staircase open at the top and no TV. We allow dogs subject to confirmation and a cleaning charge.

Cosy country cottage at the foot of the Mournes

The perfect get away for a cosy break, close to the mountains for the adventurous: cosy, relaxing and quiet if you would rather curl up in front of the fire and look at the mountains from the comfort of your sofa. A 5 minute drive will take you to the Silent Valley, the quaint fishing village of Annalong, the bustling town of Kilkeel and many excellent places to dine out. A 15 minute drive to the beautiful seaside town of Newcastle with its many shops, eateries and ice cream shops is a must.

A charmingly restored period house perfect for those seeking a cosy retreat by the sea with plenty of walks. Great choice of restaurants and local shops all within walking distance of the house. The Brambles seamlessly blends traditional features with modern comforts. We are located only 10 minutes from the world-famous Royal County Down Golf Club. Each bedroom can provide either two single beds or one double bed. We offer off-road parking, plus access to a private courtyard to the rear.

Tollymore View: Newcastle

A home away from home, in the grounds of our family holiday home, the house is just 300m away from the entrance of Tollymore Forest Park. Unwind in the hot tub soaking in the dramatic view of the Mourne Mountains. Inside, relax in front of a cosy wood burning stove. Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

Our cottage is very versatile, we can cater for groups of 2 to 15. So if your trip is to relax and rejuvenate or to celebrate a special occasion, we are happy to accommodate you. A newly refurbished cottage with amazing views, peaceful walks yet only 8 mins from Carlingford. It has 3 beautiful bedrooms, a cosy sitting room and a bright and welcoming kitchen. A Jacuzzi Hot Tub, Ice Bath, Pizza Oven & BBQ covered in for our Irish weather. Also available our Mountain House sleeps 2-11.

Our cottage is a perfect base for exploring the Mourne Mountains and coast. Enjoy walks on the beach, nearby hiking trails in Silent Valley, Tollymore and Castlewellan and take advantage of the charming pubs, restaurants and shops in Newcastle a short 10 minute drive away
