The Wee Glasshouse

The Wee Glasshouse is a modern, studio apartment in the picturesque coastal location of Dalgety Bay. It’s designed to enjoy breathtaking views of the bridges and is situated on the Fife Coastal Path with its many beaches and woodlands. The Wee Glasshouse has features similar to our own house which was filmed for More 4’s ‘Building The Dream’. TV Presenter Charlie Luxton visited several times to record its progress and was aired in Jan 2017. In 2020 it featured in Scotland’s Home of the Year.

This lovely one bed ground floor Edwardian flat is situated in the heart of Dunfermline. Once here everything is within walking distance, from the bustling High St to the stunning scenery of Pittencrieff Park and a fantastic choice of bars and restaurants. The bus station is only a 5-10 minute walk and the train station around a 15 minute walk away with both running regular services to larger cities. Nestled in our lovely walled garden and situated in the beautiful heritage quarter of our ancient capital Dunfermline, is the Garden Townhouse. Recently refurbished to a luxury and cosy standard, this home from home makes a great base to explore the Kingdom of Fife, Edinburgh, Glasgow and more and placed to access to the Fife Pilgrim Way. Our Townhouse was commissioned in 1875 by local legend and world-famous, Andrew Carnegie and has been stylishly converted into a bright and modern home.

Modern seaside flat just a 25 minute train or car journey to central Edinburgh. Lovely coastal walks with breathtaking views. Sunsets are a must with a bottle of wine.
