Magic Mountain Cottage: family- & dog-friendly

There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s remote both in location and from modern life. You have space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

Hot Tub-Studio/Cosy Cottage Apartment

Our cosy cottage apartment offers the perfect place to retreat to after a full day exploring. We are dog friendly and allow one dog per booking. We charge £10 per night so that’s £30 for a 3 night break and £50 for a week paid to me in cash. The lounge offers a log burner and sky tv. The kitchen is well equipped but there is no washing machine or dishwasher! There are views from the private patio down to the field. This property sits near the old farmhouse and next to other farm cottages.

The dome comes with everything you need...luxury camping at it's best! Dome includes...A double bed with Welsh wool duvet and bedding, Large towels and hand towels, Chest of drawers to store all of your clothing, Sky light – you can lie in bed and watch the stars, 2 x hot water bottles, A large bed spread, 2x smaller throws to keep you warm at night, Rechargeable light. The dome has no electricity or heating. A private hut, 2 meters from the dome, houses the kitchen, electric shower and toilet.

Shepherds Hut View

Our handcrafted shepherds hut is set in its own idyllic secluded spot along the Mawddach estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range offering total peace and tranquillity. It has an open plan living space with a lovely cosy double bed a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs plus an en suite shower room. Outside there is a sitting area with a fire-pit/BBQ and steps which lead down to your own path onto the estuary foreshore from where you are welcome to explore our many acres of land.

Come share our newly build home in your own private suite. The sea views and sunsets are to die for. There’s everything you need stylishly put together with a few home comforts thrown in. The views overlook the hills of Snowdonia & the Cardigan Bay Coastline with the most amazing sunsets. Built in 1819 the Georgian House provides a separate top floor apartment, with private entrance and door, accessed through the main building & staircase. The apartment Sleeps 5 with 3 bedroom and a Lounge-Diner, bathroom & kitchen.
