The house is in a quiet hamlet, a 20 minute drive from Glasgow city centre. The house holds a good central position close to airports; Glasgow airport is 30 minutes away and Edinburgh airport is 40 minutes drive and is a good base for a variety of day trips in and around the city. Twechar is situated on the Forth and Clyde canal which is used for cycling, walking and kayaking. There are many walks in and around Twechar itself for instance the Roman Fort and easy access to the Trossachs.

The Pavilion, Upper Woodburn

The Pavilion is situated in extensive woodlands overlooking its own courtyard and garden area. The house and garden have beautiful views of the Campsie Hills, and rural farmland. The south-facing balcony is perfect for sitting out and there is a barbecue area in the garden. It is an ideal base to explore the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and is close to Glasgow and half an hour from Edinburgh by train. There are two other cottages on site which, when booked together offer accommodation for 14.

It is self sufficient with its own bathroom with electric shower as well. It has a double bed. Car parking is also available. There is a TV with Sky Q in the flat also. It has fitted wardrobes and lots of room for storage. Electric heater in living room.
