The Amberg House was completed in 1911 at the pinnacle of Wright's Prairie Style influence. Though every Wright home is special, the Amberg House is a unique collaboration between Wright and Marion Mahony. Mahony worked with Wright from 1896 until 1909. Our home is on a quiet residential street of families and children... If your visit won't fit that vibe you may be happier elsewhere. There is a private, lit entrance to the studio apartment with a keyless lock system. We send the code for the lock system just prior to your stay.

The two bedroom suite is a basic guest suite off of our home in a quiet community. It has its own private off street parking, with separate furnace and central air conditioning. The only shared area is the enclosed backyard and guests even have their own private laundry. Majority of our guests take advantage of our full kitchen and toiletries. While this is not a luxury stay it offers good value considering the area.
