Our little shepherd’s hut is tucked away in the peaceful village of Snainton, Yorkshire. Situated on our small holding over-looking the corn fields surrounded by wildlife, with its own small wooded area to enjoy. Our hut has electric heating or log burner for those cold evenings, a cosy kitchen with gas hob, microwave, fridge tasters and kettle and an ensuite bathroom in an adjoining hut. We are only 10 miles from Scarborough on the coast, Dalby Forest or beautiful village of Thornton le Clay .

The grade 2 listed 'Charlotte Cottage' is the first in the run of former servants cottages. This beautiful limestone built cottage has an open plan kitchen and lounge with glazed door that opens on to a patio with table, chairs and a BBQ. Beyond is Langton halls back lawn which leads to 20 acres of parkland for you to explore at your leisure. Located within our grounds is an idyllic waterfall- perfect for picnics. Elstree Escape (private annexe, inc parking)

Elstree is a self-contained annexe to our house with allocated parking off-road and basic kitchen facilities — suitable for a short break but not for hosting dinner parties! We welcome pets and kids (although we don’t provide specialist things for infants and teenagers might find it a squash!). It is 10 min leisurely walk to the town centre and beautiful Scarborough South Bay beach, all theatres and seaside essentials. A home from home cosy space for peace, quiet and rest.
