ACCESS TO EDINBURGH FESTIVAL (Aug-Sept 2026)- by car (45 min), rail from Dunbar town centre (30min), bus from Dunbar town centre (X7, 1 hr 15 mins). there are also 3 taxi companies operating in Dunbar. We're a 20 minute drive from the coast which has stunning cliff top walks and beautiful little bays and fishing villages. This is a lovely area for walkers, hikers or anyone seeking peace and quiet in a tranquil environment or a romantic weekend getaway nestled below a remote historic castle. The hamlet is also only 30min drive (or 20min train) into central Edinburgh- perfect balance of city to green countryside. Please note we cannot accommodate children or pets.

Papana Cabin, Luxury Retreat Near Edinburgh

Take a break and unwind at Papana cabin, situated on a working farm at the foot of the Lammermuir Hills, beside woodland and open countryside. Enjoy peaceful East Lothian with walks, cycling and coastal routes nearby, and Edinburgh just 40 minutes away, with pubs and shops in Gifford close by. Pet friendly, home from home caravan

The caravan is 2 minute walk to the main complex and 5 mins to the beach. You will have your own dedicated car parking space. The caravan has a small garden / patio area to the side of the caravan so you can enjoy sitting out if the weather allows. There is also a balcony to the front of the caravan with a bistro set. The sun is on the garden from early morning so a wee sun trap.
